Meet the twin the BBC doesn't want you to know about...

"If you like works by Terry Pratchett, Douglas Adams... you will not be able to put the book down"

Don't mention the TARDIS...

Half a century ago, Doctor How's famous megalomaniac brother sold his fictional life story to the BBC, painting himself as a lone hero. Disillusioned, their four cousins dropped out. For fifty years, it is Doctor How who has protected humanity against the forces of darkness and stupidity.

Illegal aliens try to hack Doctor How's systems, and he finds his estranged cousin Where has already been compromised.

When reports come in of mysterious attacks by alien creatures, How has to rely on his new assistant Kevin, a petty criminal from south London, and Trinity, a morphing super-predator, as he counters this threat to humanity's existence.

His efforts are hampered by bungling agents from MI-16, desperate to capture How's time-travel technology.

Can Doctor How keep ahead of MI-16, save Where and combat the alien threat?

Something ate the Rindan consul and her husband alive. And now it’s eating humans…

The extraterrestrial diplomatic community blames Doctor How. He and his assistants try to deal with the alien threat quietly, but events spiral out of control when the MI6 headquarters and US embassy come under attack.

Meantime, Doctor How’s cousin When has neglected to tell him about a far greater danger, which threatens to destroy the power of the Time Keepers.

Doctor How, his assistant Kevin, and morphing alien superpredator Trinity must exterminate the vermin and find out who's behind the plot to neutralise the power of the Time Keepers. Can they do it whilst keeping one step ahead of MI6, the Metropolitan Police and a crack unit of US Navy SEALs?

Kevin must die.

And a race of aliens hate him so much they’re prepared to invade Earth to kill him.

Doctor How thinks his greedy, womanising cousin Why can help – but can he be trusted?

As a killer robot blasts its way across the planet and a death ray is fired at London, Doctor How sends Kevin back in time on a desperate mission to save the Earth. But when he’s paired up with one of the Doctor’s previous assistants the sparks begin to fly – for all the wrong reasons…

Kevin’s made a lot of dangerous enemies in the present, and things looks bleak back home – does he have a better future in the past?
